The scholarship and fellowship opportunities shown are available only through the Department. Some provide support for the entire academic year, while others are for support of research endeavors in the Summer. Alliance for Minority Participation (AMP) - The goal of AMP is to increase significantly the number of minority students who receive baccalaureate degrees in science, engineering, and mathematics. Program activities focus on strengthening mathematics skills and assisting in the transition from high school to college and from two-year colleges to four-year universities.

Bridge to the Baccalaureate - City College of San Francisco (CCSF) and San Francisco State University (SFSU) jointly sponsor a Baccalaureate Bridge Program.
